Mira was started by a DAF-MIT Fellow and Georgetown Artist Resident, Sara Voigt, and is a small start-up growing a hybrid talent base of self-taught and academically trained scientists and educators developing video animation for local academia, engineers, and scientists.

The Mira model trains videographers to communicate mathematical and scientific concepts through animation to increase global technological literacy.
