Classically trained as an in-field, unit embedded military operations videographer, Sara Voigt has documented austere environments in over 10 different countries of 30+ different job field’s operations.

She has worked for academic institutions such as MIT (where she completed a 6 month fellowship researching the intersection of videography and machine learning) and Georgetown University, where she completed work as an in house visual artist. Sara Voigt spends her time between the US and Germany, where she returns to her Wurzeln (roots) during the fall and winter months.
